Update Chad:
New BESC Requirements!
All cargo destined for the Republic of Chad must be covered by a valid Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (BESC) issued at the port of loading.
⚠️ Important to note:
Effective January 1, 2026, any BESC arriving to Chad without a BESC will be subject to a penalty equal to 100% of the BESC cost, as this will be considered a failure to declare the cargo correctly at origin.
Strict compliance with this requirement is mandatory to avoid penalties, clearance delays, and operational disruptions.
