Update Cameroon:
ECTN procedure for RORO Shipments!
For RORO vehicle shipments to Cameroon, we would like to inform you of an important update regarding the ECTN procedure as communicated by the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC):
What’s New?
From May 1, 2025, shippers must provide one of the following before the final validated ECTN can be issued:
Proof of registration in the Importers/Exporters
File (FIMEX)
A valid Special Import
Authorization.
Without these documents, the final ECTN cannot be authenticated.
What Can Still Be Done Without the Documents?
You can initiate your ECTN request as usual at the port of loading.
A draft ECTN will be issued so that loading can proceed.
Final authentication of the ECTN will only happen after submission of the required FIMEX or Special Authorization documentation.
Important Deadlines and Penalties
⚠️ The validated ECTN must be issued at least 2 business days before the vessel arrives in Cameroon.
Failure to comply may result in:
❌ A fine of 200% of the ECTN value
❌ Delays or rejections at the port

Update Angola:
Ensure a Flawless ARCCLA Document!
We all know how valuable time is in the logistics sector. That’s why we want to work with you to ensure every shipment runs smoothly, without unnecessary hurdles. A critical part of this? The ARCCLA document.
Why is the ARCCLA document so important?
The ARCCLA document is the cornerstone of your customs declaration. If the details here don’t perfectly match the official documents (such as the BL, commercial invoice, freight invoice, and DU document), delays occur. Let’s be honest: no one wants extra administrative work or delayed deliveries due to avoidable errors.
Common pitfalls we still encounter today:
Typos
A wrong number or misspelled name
Inconsistent data
Between the ARCCLA and other documents
Missing information
That later needs to be added
The result? Corrections, delays, and frustration. But the good news is: this is entirely preventable!
Tips to fill out the ARCCLA document flawlessly:
Double-check
Compare every field with the official documents. A second pair of eyes can work wonders.
