Update Central African Republic:
NIU Requirement for All ECTNs
The Central African Republic ECTN authority now requires a NIU (Numéro d'Identification Unique / Unique Identification Number) on every submission.
Which NIU is required depends on the type of BESC being filed:
Import BESC: the Importer's NIU
Export BESC: the Exporter's NIU
Important note:
NIU must be provided before validation and will appear directly on the printed ECTN document.
Already validated and printed ECTNs:
Validated ECTNs that have not gone through destination control, need to submit an update request.
To do so: send us the BESC number along with the applicable NIU so we can process the update on your behalf.
