Update Djibouti:
Mandatory ECTN Certificate for All Shipments
Avoid Penalties – Ensure Compliance Before
Arrival!
Dear all,
In line with recent
directives from Djibouti port authorities, effective June 15, 2023, all
cargo arriving in Djibouti must have a validated Electronic Cargo Tracking
Note (ECTN) in place prior to arrival.
⚠️ Shipments without a valid ECTN will now face penalties and clearance delays.
📅 What
to do:
To avoid issues, please ensure the ECTN is obtained and approved at least
five days before vessel departure.
