Update Cameroon:
Transit Cargo via Douala Corridors
Recent guidance confirms a temporary exemption for transit shipments moving through Cameroon en route to Chad and the Central African Republic.
Cameroon BESC (ECTN) will not be required, until further notice, for:
Douala → N'Djamena (Chad)
Douala → Bangui (Central African Republic)
✅ Cargo transiting these two corridors can proceed without the additional BESC, simplifying documentation.
⚠️ This applies only to the corridors above. All other shipments destined for Cameroon, Chad, or CAR must still comply with standard BESC/ECTN requirements.
