In line with the recent directive from the Ministry of Ports and Marine Transport authorities, effective
14 October, 2025, all cargo arriving in Somalia must have a validated Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN).
📅 What to do:
2. ECTN number must be clearly indicated on the Bill of Lading.
⚠️ Important to note:
Shipments without a valid ECTN will not be accepted for loading or discharge at ports!
